Hardwood floors throughout the house make it easy to sweep up any sand that might sneak in from your beach adventures.
Between visits to the local eateries, stay in and cook in the cheerful, cottage-y kitchen with all the dishes, pans and appliances you may need. Host dinner around the farmhouse table in the dining room or slide into the spacious kitchen breakfast nook for a game of euchre. Enjoy the soothing sounds and breezes of Lake Michigan as you grill out on the propane Weber Grill on the backyard deck, which offers a clear view of the Kids’ Corner playground. Be sure to take the one-block stroll to the lake to take in the stunning sunsets in the evenings.
The house is great for families with children, with a garage full of beach toys, an outdoor shower, pack-and-plays, high chair, toys, kids’ books and games. Yet the place also features plenty of comforts for the adult crowd as well!
The four upstairs bedrooms, stocked with fresh linens, provide a handy mix of sleeping options: two bedrooms that each have a queen bed, one bedroom with two full beds, and one bedroom with two single beds and two pull-out trundle beds. The house has one centrally located full bathroom upstairs and one full bathroom downstairs for easy access from the backyard and gathering areas. Bathrooms include tiled showers (shower + tub on the first floor) and clean towels.
Parking and unloading your vehicles are a breeze in the four-car private driveway and free, easy street parking.
